The Company

Miss Pippa Roberts started dancing at the age of three after having polio. She has performed in many shows and television programmes in England and abroad. She has worked as a professional choreographer until moving to Malta in 1983 where she established the Pippa Gee Dance Studio

 

She is a qualified teacher in Ballet, Tap, Ballroom, Latin American and Wheelchair Dance with I.D.T.A and N.A.T.D. She boasts of being Latin and Ballroom Champion in Malta back at the start of her teaching and coaching career and currently coaches international team of Germany and coaches couples in Malta, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and U.k. She has worked for BBC and is a member of British Equity as a choreographer. She has lectured on Latin American Dancing in Brazil. Austria, Netherlands and various other places internationally.

The school boasts of a studio which is fully air-conditioned & spacious with fully sprung parquet floor, and is used throughout the week for various classes. At the moment, 3 other qualified teachers assist Ms. Pippa. Ms.Tiziana Vella who teaches Ballet & Freestyle, Ms. Sarah Farrugia who teaches Ballet whilst Ms. Eliza Grech teaches Tap and Freestyle. 

 

Ms. Tiziana Vella is qualified in Ballet and Freestyle with N.A.T.D. Ms. Sarah Farrugia is qualified in Ballet N.A.T. D. She is a qualified science, biology and chemistry teacher and her passion is dancing. Ms. Eliza Grech is qualified with N.A.T.D since 2011 in Freestyle Dance and Tap dance. She is also a qualified physiotherapist. 

Students are encouraged to have fun and learn and may also opt to take exams offered by the NATD - National Association of Teachers of Dancing. 

Competitions throughout the year allow the students to work on teamwork and boost their confidence. Also, many TV apperances give the students the opportunity to showcase their talents, together with variouys other shows to give them exposure and experience!
